In the spirit of our mission that all people are "fearfully and wonderfully made" - Psalm 139:14, Project 139 Photography has partnered with the Rocky Mountain Children's Health Foundation to provide individual portrait photography for children and their families in the Denver Metro area who are battling or have overcome a serious illness.

Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation (RMCHF) is a non-profit organization that was established in 2008 to help meet the needs surrounding pediatric patients and their families, as well as to provide an avenue for community support. RMCHF provides direct assistance to meet their most fundamental needs.  RMCHF is committed to enhancing the quality of life for pediatric patients and their families in the Rocky Mountain region.

I met the program manager for the RMCHF a few years ago and instantly felt drawn to this organization.  I have a very strong passion for helping people (especially kids) who are battling cancer.  Over my lifetime I have seen too many family members and friends battle and sometimes lose their battle with cancer and other serious illnesses.  Seeing the pain and anguish that they go through has driven me to want to help in anyway I can.  I have been praying for a way to give to families that are so deeply affected by serious illness and I am so excited for this opportunity to give in this small way to hopefully SHINE a small light into the lives of these children and their families.

Our goal and purpose is to provide a unique, special photo session to a different family once a month who is battling or has overcome a serious illness.  We will be highlighting what makes these children and their families SHINE during what may be the darkest time in their lives.  We will focus on these sweet, beautiful, wonderfully made children and highlight the true beauty they all have inside and out.

Please join me in this journey by praying for these sweet children and their wonderful families.

Or, if you know a family or person that we could help SHINE, please don't hesitate to contact us.
