November flew by in a second! We have had visitors, vacation and Thanksgiving! I have to say that Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love that it is simply about getting together with family and being thankful for what we have. It doesn't have to be complicated or stretch out into more than that. Being thankful... sometime sounds easy, oftentimes is very hard. I think that Ann Voskamp sums it up best in the quote above... we can always find something to be thankful for, even if it starts with just a seed, something insignificant... Breathing, our health, the beautiful weather, a smile... from that it can open our eyes to all there is around us to be thankful for.
Christmas can be such a magical time, but can also be so overwhelming with the long list of to-dos. My prayer for you is that you find time this year to stop and truly enjoy family and friends... To remember what the season is truly about and live in the moment, not in the to do lists and the busyness!
I am thankful for each of you and hope you have a wonderful Christmas season, surrounded by people you love
